HiI have for sale an a1850s French striking and repeating Grand sonnerie with date work and alarm carriage clock made in France by the maker Moser which is signed by him on the back of the rear plate of the movement, the clock case has been fully restored the movement has also been fully restored with new springs added and is running strong keeping time and striking correctly with the repeat button on the top all running via the original again restored silvered platform.Again this clock was restored by Peter Bonnett before his sad passing, Peter did tell me the engraving on the platform has a hidden message or story and is a very rare clock.The Case The case is in solid shiny gilt brass and stands 19cm high x 12cm wide with a depth of 10cm it is in original condition with a thick 5mm beveled front/back door and top viewing glass again all in mint condition.The case is very shiny and hard to photograph they do not do the clock justice at all.At the base is the le...
