The 8 day duration 5 pillar movement striking the hours on a bell. The 12" arched silvered brass dial showing seconds, strike/silent and rare centre date feature.
The fine mahogany case with long trunk door flanked by canted corners with ornate fretwork. The base with a raised crossbanded panel and double plinth with ogee feet. The hood with separate reeded angle pillars with Corinthian capitals and glazed access door. The broken arch top with Greek Key pattern detail, fretwork and surmounted by a fretted pagoda and two original fluted mahogany finials. Height: 7'7½"
