Description

A Victorian antique diamond set star brooch with a pendant attachment set in silver and gold with a detachable bail and brooch back for wearing either as a pendant or a brooch. When wearing as a pendant you unscrew the brooch part and when wearing as a brooch you take off the bail. The star measures 2.5cms. The piece is set with natural old cut diamonds in silver and gold. These stars often were pieces of a large set which attached to tiara and were multifunctional pieces which were also able to be worn on dresses as brooches or as pendants.
