Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The silvered dial with black Arabic numerals is in first class, unblemished order. The oak case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a lovely warm patina.

It has a convex glass to the upper half of the fully opening door, and an astragal glazed, bevelled glass, brass bar, glazing to the bottom half.
The 8 day movement strikes on the quarters and the hour, playing the Westminster tune. Importantly, this clock strikes on 2 separate sets of steel bars and has a beautifully melodic and clear tone. It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT movement. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
An absolute little gem of a clock.
