Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The back of the spoon bowl is particularly impressive and the engraving throughout is wonderful and very crisp.

All of the pieces have a cartouch to the top of the terminals with a small initial 'C' neatly engraved.
Very clear hallmarks are visible on each piece for the London Assay Office, dated 1877 along with the Lion Passant and silver maker's mark: Chawner & Co (George William Adams).
