Description

A delightful Carmarthen cupboard that comes in two parts, the upper section with a single long shelf behind two doors with boldly carved fielded panels, a well carved cornice with attractive inlaid panel below with boxwood stringing.

It has a solid top which lends itself to display pewter, pottery or anything else. The lower section has two rows of real drawers with original brass swan neck handles, dovetail joints and bracket feet. It is a very decorative and practical piece of furniture with lovely patina and relatively small proportions. Circa 1780
