Description

A tall narrow tallboy in Mahogany dating from around 1920. This tallboy has a moulded lip to the top with two cupboard doors underneath, both of which have a moulded panel and original Copper handle with a shelf inside. Underneath this are 4 deep drawers, Ash lined with original Copper handles. It stands on short square tapered legs

Measures: Height: 73" x Depth: 26" x Width: 16"

This tall narrow tallboy dates from 1920 and is constructed in mahogany with a rich deep colour and patination. The upper section comprises a moulded top lip above a pair of cupboard doors, each decorated with a moulded panel and fitted with a central copper handle, enclosing a storage shelf within. Below the cupboards sit four deep, ash-lined drawers of graduating capacity, each retaining its original oval-shaped copper drop handle. The piece rests upon short, plain square tapered legs and displays clean rectangular lines.
