Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1940s, is characterised by geometric precision, stylised motifs, and a combination of contrasting metals or stones.

Rings from this era frequently utilised platinum, yellow gold, and rose gold, often featuring old-cut diamonds with distinct hand-faceted proportions.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit period-appropriate hallmark stamps, hand-cut facets characteristic of older diamond-cutting techniques, and signs of age-related wear on the metal.

A vintage ring can be paired with modern minimalist bands for a curated mixed-metal stack, or worn alone as a focal statement piece.

Antique rings should be cleaned gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh chemical ultrasonic cleaners that might damage older settings or stones.
