Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian Arts and Crafts furniture emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as a reaction against mass production, focusing on traditional craftsmanship, natural materials, and functional design.

Cabinet makers of this era predominantly used native British timbers such as solid oak, often featuring quarter-sawn figuring, along with brass or wooden hardware.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit hand-cut dovetail joints, solid timber construction, makers marks or paper labels, and characteristic period hardware without modern fixings.

An antique wooden tallboy can be integrated into contemporary spaces by pairing it with minimalist decor, neutral walls, and modern lighting to highlight its historical grain and craftsmanship.

Preserve antique oak by keeping it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, applying periodic beeswax polish, and maintaining stable indoor humidity levels to prevent wood splitting.
