This Victorian chandelier combines gilded brass and white cut glass with clear elements, presenting a five-branch fitting featuring scroll arms and upright candle nozzles. The central column displays decorative oval cutouts and overlay details in white glass, complemented by brass hardware and a linked chain at the top for suspension. It measures 43 cm high, 30.5 cm wide, and 30.5 cm deep. Suitable for hanging from a ceiling in domestic settings, the fixture provides multi-point illumination via its five candle nozzles. The re-wired internal components allow for connection to standard domestic electrical supplies, while the adjustable chain permits height modification to suit various ceiling clearances in residential interior spaces.

Victorian glass and brass chandeliers feature ornate cast metal scrollwork combined with decorative blown or cut glass elements, reflecting the opulent interior design trends of the late 19th century.

These lighting fixtures were constructed using cast brass or bronze, often gilded, paired with hand-cut or overlay glass stems, drops, and bowls designed to refract light.

Authentic pieces feature heavy cast brass with original casting seams, hand-finished details, natural surface patination or gilt wear, and hand-cut glass with subtle structural variations.

Position the chandelier above a dining table or within an entrance hall to serve as a central focal point, pairing its elaborate metalwork with understated contemporary furnishings.

Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding abrasive polishes on gilded brass to preserve the original finish, and clean glass sections gently using a soft, damp cloth.
