The rug has diagonal rows of large floral boteh on a clear madder red ground, the boteh are in soft pastel colours. There are smaller boteh and other tribal devices scattered through out the rug. The wide border is a striking feature of this rug, the dark indigo ground is covered with a serrated leaf design with rosette flowers and birds.
