Antique Afshar rug woven in the south-west of Persia in the late 19th century with a colourful vibrant interesting pattern of repeating boteh''s in the main field design. Woven on a soft wool foundation, they tend to be light to touch and with a floppy handle such as this antique rug and come in a variety of designs. This rug is no exception, amazing soft wool in a fantastic variety of colours.
