A wonderfully patinated Welsh Oak Cupboard, made from highly figured native oak of intense colour, the original backboards of pine. Constructed in two stages, the shallow frieze applied with contrasting dark and light panels below a finely moulded cornice. The four recessed panel doors enclosing shelves and with a long central drawer, the sides are also panelled.
Probably Cardiganshire/Merionethshire, circa 1790-1810.
