Description

Victorian period, burr walnut carved bedside cabinet, C1870. This pedestal bedside cabinet with burr walnut veneered top with moulded edge, bow front, over single drawer with twin turned knob handles, over cabinet with carved details, original lock, no key, one internal shelf. Raised on plinth base.

An attractive, period, bedside cabinet, in good condition, some marks and blemishes, but very serviceable and ready to use.

This bedside cabinet measures approximately 75 cm (29.5") tall, 40 cm (16") wide, and 48 cm (19") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This bedside cabinet is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Some minor marks and blemishes, in keeping with a piece of this age. A couple of small veneer repairs and a couple of small losses otherwise all original apart from a repolish. In good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
