A Smart Pair Of Early 20thc Mahogany Bedside Tables

These high quality mahogany bedside tables were presented to their former owners grandfather by King George V as a Christmas present as he looked after the Kings horses. There is a label inside one of the drawers to this effect as shown on the photographs. They unusually a little longer than normal and could easily be used at either end of a sofa, they have glass tops, pierced scroll brackets supporting square tapering legs with an ebony band, an extra sign of quality, the drawers are cock beaded and run well.
