So we were pleased to be offered this lovely 19th Century mahogany example. English flights of drawers and bedside cabinets from this period, and before, have nearly always been part of a larger piece of furniture, ours was originally part of a fine pedestal dressing table. It is in exceptional condition, with all its original turned hardwood handles in place, and retains an appealing and attractive colour. As you can see from the images, the bottom drawer is twice the normal size, with the added benefit that it can store A4 sized paper.
