An elegant George III mahogany linen press.
c.1780.
Constructed from solid mahogany.
The panelled double doors having cross-banded ovals with flame figuring. The doors open to reveal five mahogany slides. The slides each open smoothly.

Below is a chest of four drawers-two short and two long. With cock-beading and the original brass swan-neck handles. All drawers are oak lined, of dove-tail construction and open smoothly and easily.
Standing on bracket-feet.

Very easy to move as it can be dismantled into three sections.
Excellent antique condition. Very fresh and new internally. Replaced escutcheons.

Depth including cornice-61.5cm. Depth of base section-61cm.
