Large Unusual Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase by Ando Company

1920 - 1940
Description

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this most unusual early 20thc Taisho/Showa period Cloisonné enamel vase by the highly regarded Ando Jubei company, this unusual bulbous shaped off white Musen enamel body is finely modelled in a contemporary style and features a trio of multi coloured Fir Trees as the decorative subject , the Trees instantly drawing the Eye to the feel of a Christmas scene ,the Trees surrounded by a shaded border . The rims have been mounted in solid Silver while the base of this splendid vase bears the seal of the well known Ando Company as well as a stamped silver mark to the rim , a real statement piece for a room setting or as a delightful addition to your Cloisonné enamel or Japanese works of art collection .
