This ladies Art Deco revival shoulder ring dates from later than 1960. The piece is fashioned from eighteen-carat white gold and set with a central emerald-cut green gem and numerous small round diamonds. Visible details include a four-claw setting holding the approximately two-carat mid-green emerald, three rows of pavé diamonds along the shoulders, a graduated central line of five diamonds, and seven smaller diamonds on the outer rows. Additional features comprise a small diamond set within the triangular openwork gallery beneath the central stone and hallmark stamps on the inside of the band including a 750 mark. The ring surface measures 1 cm in diameter. It suits modern formal wear or evening events when worn on the hand.
