Description

A very well made late 19thC canvas and leather French travelling trunk. Quality brass double lock (with working key). Quality brass clasps and brass rollers to the base. Side carrying handles (one replaced). Brass lid stay to the interior. Studded beech batons to Front top and back. Original lining to the interior. Stitched and brass pinned leather trim.

Generally intact but with scuffs and blemishes from use. Old red wax seals around the lock and clasps. Makers name.....Les Hirondelles Malles Legeres..... Owners card retainer in leather to the front top.
