Birmingham 1885 Victorian English hallmarked solid silver pair of six lobed salt cellars with their original matching spoons, all with matching hallmarks. Made by Vale Brothers and Sermon.
The salt cellars with pretty shaped and pinched edges, are most attractive and a good size and weight.
The matching spoons also have the same unusual lobed bowls, duplicating the shape of the cellars , and are topped with ball finials.
Combined weight-50 grams.
Size-salts: 2 3/8 inches diameter by 1 inch high ; spoons: 2 5/8 inches long by .75 inches wide.
A very lovely and unusual pair of Victorian salts with original spoons in very good condition.
