A fine Royal Worcester decorative vase of elegant shape reticulated by George Owen. Finely reticulated with bands of both graduated honeycomb and geometric shapes the ewer is enhanced with ''embroidered'' raised paste gilding, etched gilding to the foot rim and flat gilding. Additional piercing to the foot rim area and handles along with miniature garlands of ''seed pearls'' to the handles.
A beautiful small example of Owen at his best showcasing all of Owens trademark skills on this unusual shape.
Fully Factory marked in gold with date code for 1919, additional painted mark ''61'' which we believe to be the Potters mark for Owens son, George Potter Owen.
Incised signature to base G Owen.
In exceptional condition, no damages or restoration.
