Early, fine quality, Georgian, Cuban mahogany, bureau bookcase with original interior and fine features. The top section with locking glazed doors, internal pigeon holes, small drawers and adjustable shelves. The base with large drawers all of a good, hand-cut, dovetailed construction with oak linings and solid brass plate handles. The fall opening to reveal more compartments and drawers, mirrored door and many secret compartments. Circa 1740.
