As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this lovely example of a Satsuma vase from the highly regarded Kinkozan studio , the vase is decorated with opposing panels the first depicting Samurai and Bijin in a formal garden setting whilst the reverse depicts artisans appearing to be making or painting screens , the royal blue borders are decorated in fine gold and silver foliage typical of higher quality Kinkozan wares , the neck finished with a geometric border and gilded and the underside signed with a gilt signature.
The condition is superb !
