Decorative Pair Of Japanese Imperial Satsuma Vases

As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this lovely pair of satsuma vases decorated in the Imperial pallette , the vases are unusually decorated with a multitude of coloured flowers using a raised enamel type of technique , the top borders are traditionally decorated in blue and gilt with imperial mons , the underside of the vases signed in a red four character alongside a blue enamel mon usually associated with '' Imperial Satsuma ''.
A great pair of decorative vases from the Meiji period .
The condition is good with the enamels still very fresh in most areas.
