EXCEPTIONAL DOULTON LAMBETH VASE, MADE BY GEORGE TINWORTH, c. 1870 – 1890
Absolutely superb Doulton Lambeth Vase. Made and distinctively signed by the maker George Tinworth circa 1870-1890, considered to be one of the most important Doulton Designers. The vase is in wonderful condition. The interior glaze is a deep royal blue. The vase itself has an intricate relief design of creams and muted browns on the same deep royal blue (see photos). The base of the vase is unglazed and stamped with the Doulton Lambeth mark, along with numbers and the initials ‘BN’. This is a beautiful and rare item
