As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large Japanese satsuma vase by the renowned Kinkozan factory , the main body is decorated throughout in a beautiful and continuous countryside scene including birds in flight and at rest amongst prunus blossom , most unusually there is a river running through the decoration with birds at rest along the river as it meanders through the craggy setting , the shoulder decoration is delightful with multi coloured butterflies amidst a background of exotic flora in crisp gilded detail either side of the more traditional geometric borders , it is difficult to judge the scale of this vase online although we do have other multi photos available by request, a highly decorative and high quality vase by a top factory !!The condition is perfect with no restorations or damage and only light gilt rubbing at the base and shoulder borders.Approximate sizesHeight 15.25'' 38.25 cm Diameter 9'' 23 cmBase 4....
