As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality heavy gauge Japanese bronze and mixed metal vase by the highly regarded artist Jomi Eisuke II (1839-1899) , this slender tapered vase is finished in a slightly mottled patination, the vase is superbly decorated with a display of exotic flowers upon a hoe ,finished in gold , shakudo, shibuichi and silver amongst other mixed alloys , at the top of the hoe rests a mixed metal dragonfly , the vase is signed to a circular seal on the underside .
