Japanese Iron Komai Style Vase Gold Signature

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nice shaped Japanese iron vase decorated in the Komai manner by another one of the factorys producing these wares in the late 19th and early 20th century , the tapered vase is finely decorated in gold and silver damascene work and depicts mount Fuji above a lakeside village setting , the vase is further decorated with a gilded interior to the lip, it bears its original factory label to the base and has a nice gold painted signature to the rear.

The condition is lovely.
