As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to be able to offer this fabulous quality miniature pair of Japanese satsuma vases that in our opinion are painted after the style of the great Yabu Meizan in the late 19th century .

The main body of the vases depicts "boys day" when the boys from the village would parade , play and generally have great fun ,there is so much going on around the entire body of the vases , the tops are enamelled in fine detail and the lower borders are finished in the usual geometric style, although not signed these great little vases were certainly painted by a very competent artist ,the condition is as perfect as you could hope for and they would make a great addition to your collection !
