Superb Large Japanese Imperial Satsuma Vase Dragons

19th century
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large and imposing Imperial satsuma vase ,the main body predominatly decorated with crysanthemuns in bold Imperial colour enamels further heavily gilded ,the whole top panel is unusually decorated with a pair of three clawed dragons amidst red flames on a floral ground .

The vase is signed on the underside and bears the blue imperial mon , the condition is simply superb with only minimal wear on the gilding , no chips cracks or restorations , a very large impressive imperial vase !!
