Significant Pair of Good Arita Quality Japanese Imari Vases

Description

We are delighted to be able to offer a large and impressive pair of 19th century imari lidded vases , the ribbed vases are of superior quality depicting various tranquil panelled scenes between fabulous ribbed and gilded decoration ,the matching lids surmounted with dogs of foe.

The condition of the actual vases is superb throughout with only minor nibbles on the dogs tails on the lids plus the usual gilt rubbing you would expect as the dogs have been handled many times.

These super vases are very substantial standing over one and a half feet high with proportionate wide body's , ready for immediate delivery !!
