Founders Antiques has dated this Inlaid Mahogany Piano Stool to the Edwardian era.
Retaining the maker's plaque to the underside, the workshop quality of James Shoolbred is evident throughout, demonstrated by the crisp boxwood inlays, heavy solid brass hardware and the fully finished underside of the seat.

Very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound throughout, with the brass stay operating smoothly and the needlepoint upholstery beautifully clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1905.
