A Mint Clean Arts & Crafts 2 Piece Adjustable Oak Bookcase to Wax/paint/limewash

This bookcase is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it ready for you to either paint or wax.

We can wax this in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina please email or telephone for a quote if you are interested.

The bookcase would look well in an old or modern property in any room for storage of books or a collection etc. This bookcase is in two pieces and very heavy so I will require a hand off the van with it into your hallway.

The bookcase stands on a square plinth supporting the main section. There are two large doors. Each door has a fielded panel which is a sign of quality and a metal drop handle. Behind the doors there is one shelf for storage. There are two drawers above with an arts and crafts handle. The drawers are oak lined and have dovetail joints. The top sits neatly upon the base and is slightly set back having two large glazed doors. The glass is totally original and stunning. The top has a standard graduated cornice. Behind the doors are shelves for storage and these shelves are adjustable.

The height is 232cm, the width is 109cm and the depth is 50cm.

Delivery Terms

WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY TO ENGLAND, WALES, AND SCOTLAND (BELOW PERTH)

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

james@davidhuntantiques.com for a price.

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
