This pair of antique Edwardian sterling silver salad servers from 1903 includes a serving spoon and a slotted serving fork in a silver colour. The English Country House style pieces have smooth scalloped bowls, long stems, and foliate relief handles decorated with leaf patterns at the ends. They were hallmarked in London by Jackson & Fullerton. Each piece has a sturdy handle and plain polished bowls suited for everyday dining. The salad servers measure 23.4 cm in length, with a bowl width of 4.9 cm and a weight of 136 grams. They work well for serving a variety of foods at the dining table and suit placement on a sideboard top during meals or dinner parties. The set remains in excellent condition from careful handling over the years.

Edwardian sterling silver flatware, produced between 1901 and 1910, often features refined classical motifs, delicate foliate scrollwork, and lighter proportions compared to heavy Victorian designs.

Authentic pieces are constructed from sterling silver containing 92.5% pure silver alloyed with copper for structural durability, often featuring hand-chased decorative handles and cast spoon bowls.

Authentic British Edwardian silver displays a set of hallmarking stamps, including the lion passant for sterling purity, an assay office symbol, a date letter, and a makers mark.

These servers can be paired with contemporary ceramic or wooden salad bowls to create a balanced contrast between historical craftsmanship and modern minimalist tableware.

Clean silver using a specialized non-abrasive silver polish and a soft cloth, avoiding dishwasher use to prevent surface pitting and tarnishing.
