Description

Antique 20th century Edwardian cupboard in oak, a beautifully made piece with a clever arrangement of storage and plenty of traditional character.

A large cupboard door to the front opens to reveal a single shelf, providing useful concealed storage.

Positioned above is one drawer, offering additional space for smaller belongings. Both the cupboard door and drawer are finished with decorative brass handles, adding an attractive detail against the oak.

The top lid also opens to reveal a further storage compartment, bringing another practical element to the design.

Particularly striking natural grain and beautiful colour can be admired throughout the oak, giving the cupboard plenty of depth and character.

In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable piece offers an excellent amount of storage within neat and versatile proportions.

Produced between 1901 and 1910, Edwardian furniture is characterised by lighter proportions than preceding Victorian styles, drawing inspiration from Georgian and Neoclassical designs while emphasising functionality and high-quality cabinetmaking.
