A superb rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1785 with the maker being Thomas Wallis - note it has the incuse kings head duty mark used for only 2 years. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs - faint bowl marks. It measures approx. 11.5 inches (29.4cm) long by 2 inches (5.1cm) wide and weighs 94 grams. A high quality rare piece.
