Bleached French Carved Oak Hunting Cabinet

Description

A superb French Carved Oak Hunting Cabinet, dating to the mid 19th Century. Adorned with wonderful carvings including 2 oval door panels depicting a hare and game birds. Glazed top section with single adjustable shelf inside, 2 drawers and large cupboard to the base. If you preferred you could take the middle section out which measures 30cm thus reducing the height by 30cm and sit the glazed top section directly on the cupboard base section. One of the glass doors has an 8 inch crack which hardly notices but we can re glaze within the price if desired. We have bleached it for a lighter look and it really makes the carving stand out. In overall excellent original condition for the home.
