This large Sheraton Revival bookcase comes from 1930 and follows a grand Regency style, constructed from golden brown satinwood with brass hardware and glass. The exterior displays a breakfront profile, a shaped cornice, and a plinth base, alongside astragal glazing, ribbon swags, and hand-painted floral cartouches on both the upper and lower panelled doors. Inside, the upper and lower sections contain adjustable and display shelving behind glazed and panelled doors, complemented by three drawers with drop handles. Measuring 201.5 cm high, 236 cm wide, and 46 cm deep, this substantial statement piece provides extensive display and storage capacity for a grand living room, a formal dining space, or a traditional study.
