Circa 1860 with adaptations. Mid-Victorian breakfront mahogany, three-section open bookcase. Surmounted by a classical Victorian moulded cornice above a simple crossbanded frieze, the open bookcase with rounded corners has three sections, deeper in the middle, and each with five adjustable shelves. All sitting on a moulded enclosed breakfront plinth base. In excellent condition. The simple, unfussy lines of this bookcase would fit in any style of home
