Chinese Export Silver Case Etui Box C1800 Antique Georgian

Description

A beautiful rare early 19th century Chinese solid silver and mother of pearl box. It is unmarked but tests as silver (approx. 800 grade). I would date it to the early 19th century c1800. It has been beautifully made being decorated with mother of pearl Chinese scenes. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks holes and repairs. It closes securely. The inside is lightly gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (7.8cms) tall by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) by 0.5 inches and weighs 34 grams. A beautiful quality rare early piece.
