Edwardian Antique Silver Vesta Box, Chester 1904

Description

A stunning antique Edwardian silver vesta case. Made in 1904 in Chester by the Boots Drug Company. It has a beautifully cast image of a Blue Tit bird and a butterfly in a flowering bush. The hinge is tight and the lid snaps closed, there are a full set of hallmarks on the rim. Overall it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It has “W. Marshall” engraved on the back and there is a striker underneath. A very collectable item.

Weight; 26 grams approx.
