Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Ladle

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique sterling silver sauce or gravy ladle by Georg Jensen. It is in the popular Acorn pattern and has a slender handle with a distinct acorn and husk motif at the top.

A stylish and good quality piece of Jensen silver. It is hallmarked on the back of the bowl with Danish marks dating it to between 1904 - 1932 and the Jensen stamp. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but readable. It weighs approximately 39g.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are a few light surface marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Length : 6 3/4" (17cm)

Width of Bowl : 2" (5cm)
