A very decorative, good sized Zanzibar blanket chest, expertly crafted from richly patinated Padouk and enhanced with elegant brass edging.

The front, sides, and top are adorned with decorative brass panels and stud work. Inside, the chest is clean and retains its original candle boxes, an appealing original element that reinforces its historic role and provenance. The chest is in wonderful condition, with acceptable wear and tear.

A versatile piece perfect for storing blankets, pillows, or cherished belongings. Its warm tones and intricate brass work also make it an eye-catching coffee table or decorative accent in any living space.
