D & J Hunt Antiques has dated this Victorian Pine Knockdown Wardrobe to the Victorian era.

The wardrobe would look well in an old or modern property in a large bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture for storage. Its main attribute is that it does knockdown into many pieces enabling it to go up 100% of staircases. It is simple for you to put together using wooden chucks.

The wardrobe stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are two large doors. Each door has one panel that is fielded and a moulding around the edge. There is a moulding to the top that is stepped into the corners. Behind the doors there are three shelves for storage of many clothes. More shelves could be placed in if required or a hanging rail placed inside. There is a key to lock the doors. The top has a standard graduated cornice. There are fluted columns and carved corbles. The sides are also panelled and the panels are fielded.
The height is 194cm, the width is 157cm and the depth is 64cm. The internal depth is 49cm.
