Description

19th century swedish birch cupboard circa 1870.

Here we have fine quality scandinavian cupboard made in birch, which offers superb storage and function.

Veneered in birch which has been cut differently to give it a tiger appearance, top surface which has unusually been veneered in several strips complete with moulded edge.  pair of drawers directly below the top surface which open on the key, double door cupboard opens to reveal 3 fitted shelves.  raised on 4 block feet.

Expected restorations to woodwork, evidence of dead inactive woodworm which has been treated and restored. 1 replaced foot.  very slight natural warping to doors, which happens over time, but they close and lock.  recently fully restored and polished by hand in our workshop.
