Description

This is an unusual and fabulous antique Edwardian sterling silver sugar basket in the style of an urn with a hinged lid measuring 7" (18 cms) high to the rim x 5" (13 cms) across including the handles

It comes complete with blue glass liner and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

It's hallmarked for Chester 1905 with the silversmiths mark for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes

The silver without the liner weighs 286.3 grams / 9.2 troy oz which gives you some idea of the quality and it will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity
