These late Victorian spill vases take the form of three interconnected lily flowers rising from a moulded leaf base. Modelled in porcelain from the 1920 period, the pair displays a blush ivory colour palette with pink-tinted petals, pale green stems, and delicate gold gilding along the fluted trumpet rims. The surface finish combines smooth glazed porcelain with textured leaf and bud mouldings at the base. Each vase measures 16.5 cm high, 11 cm wide, and 11 cm deep. Designed with an English Country House aesthetic, the vases suit display on a mantelpiece, side table, or open shelving unit to hold small floral arrangements, dried stems, or to stand alone as decorative ornaments in a living room, study, or bedroom setting. They integrate easily into traditional or transitional interiors alongside other porcelain collections.

Spill vases were designed during the nineteenth century to hold thin wood splints or rolled paper spills used to transfer fire from a hearth to candles, lamps, or pipes.

Blush ivory porcelain features soft satin-matt glazes tinted with subtle pink and peach tones, often accented with hand-applied gold gilding over a fine porcelain body.

Authentic pieces typically feature printed or impressed maker marks on the base, accompanied by delicate gradient shading and fine gilding along the rims rather than heavy enamelling.

These vessels function effectively as decorative mantelpiece accents, entryway console displays, or accent vases for small floral stems.

Dust gently with a dry microfibre cloth or soft brush, avoiding abrasive chemicals, liquid immersion, and harsh rubbing that could strip the gilding.
