Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Basket with Liner 1898

Description

This is a pretty antique Victorian sterling silver basket with swing handle and a blue glass liner measuring 4 1/2" (11.5 cms) x 2 1/4" (5.5 cms) x 2" (5 cms) high to the rim and 4 1/2" (11.5 cms) tall to the handle when it’s up.

It’s hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 with the silversmiths mark for Levi & Salaman and it weighs 77.8 grams / 2.5 troy oz without the liner.

It has lovely decoration, is in excellent condition and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

This basket will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
