Massive Late 15th Century Gothic Coffer in Oak and Elm

Description

An impressive and substantial late 15th century six plank joined coffer in mixture of elm and oak, the single piece top with thumb moulding above a front decorated with two deep, gauge carved Gothic Tracery arches, the sides with original iron work handles, the whole raised on original shaped plinth. This coffer is constructed using huge dove tails visible throughout. Good colour.
